Interview with Congressional candidate Dan Lambon November 4, 2012 at 1:48 pm
Article as found at VASS – political commentary
On the evening of November 2, 2012, we spoke with NY-22 congressional candidate Dan Lamb at his headquarters in Binghamton, NY. The interview was recorded on video (and will be available in full later today), and Mr. Lamb was not made aware of the questions beforehand – as is our normal interview procedure.
The interview consisted on 7 questions, plus we decided to take a page from various debates and asked Mr. Lamb to provide a short statement on several topical subjects. This is the first interview where we have done that, and we made the request spontaneously of Mr. Lamb who was gracious enough to indulge us in this effort.
We wish to correct, as was done at the time, Mr. Lamb’s statement about the job numbers reported earlier November 2nd. The correct number of jobs was 171,000. Mr. Lamb incorrectly stated 180,000.
We also confirm that as reported by the Syracuse Post Standard on October 26, 2012, Rep. Richard Hanna has voted for the Ryan Plan that would create a voucher system which Rep. Hanna has stated he is against.
Subjects covered in the video interview include: Debt ceiling; National debt; Hydrofracking; Illegal immigration reform; Path to citizenship; Environment; Farming; Social Security; Medicare; Jobs/economy.
Lightning round questions
**We have extended an offer to Rep. Richard Hanna to be interviewed several times this elections cycle. To date he had failed to respond in any manner.**
